How to use your Moisturising Hand Gel:

Apply to your hands and rub in until completely dry, which takes around 20 seconds. Include in between your fingers – and don’t rinse! This is not a replacement for good hygiene and should be used in conjunction with regular hand washing with soap and water.

How to wear your Reusable Face Covering:

Wash your hands before and after fitting the face covering.

Place it over your mouth and nose, using the ear loops to secure it and make sure it’s snug.

Don’t touch your face covering while wearing it. If you accidentally touch it, wash or sanitise your hands.

Remove the face covering by lifting off the ear loops, without touching the fabric or your face, then wash or sanitise your hands immediately afterwards.

Wash your face covering in the washing machine after every use. It’s fine to launder it with other clothes.

When to wear your Reusable Face Covering:

Current government guidance is that you must wear a face covering at all times on public transport or when attending a hospital as a visitor or outpatient. If you can, you should also wear a face covering in other enclosed public spaces where social distancing isn’t possible and where you will come into contact with people you do not normally meet. This is most relevant for short periods indoors in crowded areas.

Evidence suggests that wearing a face covering does not protect you. However, if you are infected but have not yet developed symptoms, it may provide some protection for others you come into close contact with.

Face coverings do not replace social distancing. If you have symptoms of COVID-19, you and your household must isolate at home: wearing a face covering does not change this.

Regular handwashing with soap and water, covering your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, and not touching your face with unwashed hands still remain the most important actions according to the latest NHS and government guidance.
